MR Oncology Symbol

Our Logo consists of three symbols.

• The first symbol is the zodiac sign of CANCER. Here it symbolizes the disease which is characterized by uncontrolled proliferation, invasion, and metastatic dissemination.

• The second symbol is the STAFF of ASCLEPIUS, the God of Medicine and Healing. This staff with the snake is the symbol for the medical sciences or the art of healing.

• The CIRCLING SPHERE symbolizes a spinning proton and refers to nuclear spin used in Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging to detect and understand cancer.
